Remix Challenge Overview

Just like on my tumblr, I've said many times how horrible I am at finishing challenges especially once that go longer than 10 days. However, this has probably got to be one of my favorite challenges I've done not to mention also the most challenging one. Being limited to only 30 items isn't so difficult the first couple of weeks but after awhile I realized I just ended up throwing random things on or even the same outfits I wore just because of laziness and lack of motivation to be creative. Not being able to shop for 30 days was pretty hard as well, but not as difficult as I was expecting it to be which actually is a great accomplishment for me being how much of a shopaholic I am but for me to know that it CAN be done makes me proud of myself.

Obviously, I was really into this challenge and actually taking pictures of the outfits in the first half, but towards the end I started getting extremely lazy in both dressing up and taking pictures which is why I missed good number of days. There are just days where I don't really care what I'm wearing or feel the urge to dress "cute" - we all have those, even the most fashionable people have lazy days. It is kinda cool to look back at these group of pictures and see how mix and matched some of the same items.

This was a really great challenge & I actually do recommend it for anyone. If you don't have 30 items to choose from, you can always alter the numbers and do less.

Remix Outfit #29

 

Today was even more warmer than yesterday. Decided to wear my F21 top as a dress. 

We headed over to Cheeky Cafe to have brunch with our gang of friends and as usual delicious food & great company. If you didn't notice in the picture of Rylan he enjoyed his pb&j sandwich too lol. Afterwards, we headed over to Muang's house & the kids were able to play outside and ride around in Emerie & her neighbors power wheels and cars. 

Nothing better than to watch your kids have a great time playing with each other despite the tantrums with not wanting to share or go back in the house.

My battery died yesterday again & wasn't able to take a picture of my outfit (bummer). 

Anyways, this weekend we prepared to be busy knowing it would be a beautiful weekend, had to make the most of it. I had brunch with my two lovely girls from work at Applebee's. Had my favorite to get which is the Oriental Chicken Salad. Afterwards, the family headed to Alki Beach to walk around, enjoy the sun & take pictures of the city & of Rylan running around like crazy. Almost had to bribe him to get back in the car. 

Remix Outfit #26

If you haven't noticed, my motivation to posts on a daily basis is lessening & so is taking the time to take pictures of my outfits. To be honest, I actually did follow the rules in wearing the items I chose however I just didn't take the time to take a picture because for one the other day I couldn't find it and the other times I was just simply lazy. But hey, at least I'm still following the rules in that I'm not wearing anything outside of the items I chose right?

I actually really enjoyed this outfit although I did later regret wearing all black considering the sun actually popped out for a little bit & I just about started dying from sweat.

Oh & again, excuse the messy room.

Remix Outfit #24

I actually took the time & effort to look "decent". I realized I haven't worn this flowery top that I picked this entire time so I figured I would wear it today. I ended up really liking the ensemble & received compliments from patients saying that I looked very springy (is that even a word?).

Btw, is this challenge over it? It's not even so much the temptation to shop or the want to shop that's driving me a little bit insane but the fact that I can't wear any of my other clothes in my closet/drawer that I've been wanting to wear or missed wearing.

HAPPY EASTER!

Today was such a fun day spent with both family & good friends. My cousin Jaycie wanted to take pictures of Rylan & the fam for her photography class so we went over to their house and spent a couple of hours with them. 

Afterward, Ish had set a random photoshoot of our good friend Yin and her boyfriend Thomas (which is them kissing in the picture above). We walked around in Ballard and just had a lot of fun wingin' it. And Ish got some really great shots. To see more of their shoot, go to ID-Photography's Blogspot.

I'm always so sad when the weekends are over because we always have so much fun.

Remix Outfit #21

Ish was helping our friend Kym shoot a wedding up in at the Tulalip Resort and Rylan and I headed over there to attend the Reception later on during the day. Originally I had bought a dress I was originally going to wear to the wedding but since I started this challenge I realized that I wouldn't be able to wear it and had to come up with something else. Luckily the weather was beautiful. Sunshine, clear skies & warm -- I was actually sweating. We were a little early to the Resort so Rylan and I was even able to enjoy the sun a little bit.

I wish for more days like this. It was perfect. I realize I only have about 10 days left till I'm done with this challenge (:

Remix Outfit #20

HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY LOVES!

Must be wondering where Outfit #19 went. I wasn't sure as to how I'd go about the days since although I did wear the something from my 30 items I did not get the chance to take a picture hence why there is a day missing.

Anyways, TGIF! Today was an amazing day despite how worn out my body feels now. With the weather being so beautiful today I decided as I was driving home that I would take my Remix pictures outside while I let Rylan run around and get some Vitamin D. He of course loved it and kept wanting to be in my pictures with me (loves taking pictures like mommy lol). So, I of course did not go to work showing skin, but on my drive home I got really hot and that was my solution of somehow cooling myself off since I didn't want to turn on the AC or roll my windows down completely.

Btw, I hope you guys adore these pictures of Rylan as much as I do <3

Remix Outfit Day #18

Another long day at work. I think I've literally spent the last couple of days seeing Rylan for 3hrs all together, since I've been staying for such longer hours at work. It's very much exhausting but I know something that'll be worthwhile in the end. Being a workaholic is tough sometimes but in a sense I'd rather be busy at work than being bored at home.

Remix Outfit #17

I didn't get home till around 8 today and luckily I got home just in time for the sunset so there was still some light shining into my room. All I wanted to do when I got home was get out of my work clothes and crawl into bed, which explains my very unfocused uncreative picture I took.

First off, I want to start off this post apologizing at the delay of my remix outfit posts. This week has been a very long and exhausting week for me, as you will see/have seen through the next few pictures because it shows how unmotivated I was to take these pictures or even almost gave up on this challenge because all I really wanted to wear were pajamas lol.
