Spring Showers

F21 ring, necklace, blazer, shorts, hat & handbag, H&M belt & tights, Jujubes tank and ring, Dollhouse wedges.

Despite the sunshine we surprisingly were able to enjoy at the beginning of the week, Washington never fails to continue bringing the rain showers. Regardless, I was still happy because #1 I'm finally feeling 10x better after having to fight off a cold/cough or whatever it was I had for nearly a month! #2 we were going to one of my friend's daughter's 1st birthday party. We spent nearly the entire there since Ish was asked to be the photographer so I'm glad that I opted for those Dollhouse wedges because running around and carrying Rylan around for nearly 5 hours was exhausting but thank goodness those wedges are amazingly comfortable - which is why it's been my go to shoes to wear out as of late. I've had both those shorts & hat for awhile and was excited to finally be able to wear 'em.

My Saturday was great & I hope everyone else is enjoying their weekend <3

Idols and Inspirations

I've been meaning to write a post on the individuals that I idolize in the fashion industry whether in those in direct hollywood spotlight or within the blogosphere fashion community.  I take inspiration from a broad spectrum of things, whether on or off the runway, on the streets, movies, red carpet, shoots, - everything - BUT there are a few amount of those I admire and look up to. I'm not going to go into detail as to why because in my perspective I think it's pretty self explanatory.

So, I'll start with those in the hollywood/celebrity industry.

Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen

Nicole Richie

Alexa Chung

Gwen Stefani

Kourtney Kardashian

And for those I've come across through the blog/lookbook world these are my ultimate idols.

There you have it folks! Hope you enjoyed (:

Hello Sunshine, long time no see

F21 tank, necklace, purse & sunglasses, Asos sweater & knuckle armor ring, Etsy hand chain, Aritzia harem pants

Washington weather lately, has consisted of tons of rain - and although I should probably already be used to this kind of weather having been lived here almost my entire life I have yet to come to terms with the fact that about 75%-80% of the year consists of rainy or cloudy days for us. Today though, mother nature decided to grace us with her love and let the sun shine for quite a while.

I've been fighting off this awful cough for the past 3 weeks, I can't seem to get rid of it and now that the entire family is sick too I'm sure it'll linger much longer. I've been wanting to wear these new harem pants I bought awhile back as well as the Asos sweater, & I thought today would be a perfect day. And surprisingly enough, I really adored the combination. I know some or maybe most people opt out of wearing Harem pants, I am one of those people that are a fan of them, despite my petite built body.

What's in my bag/purse?

So, I finally did a "What's in my bag/purse?" video since I was tagged in Jess' post a few days ago and I've been wanting to make one, but with school, work and my disgusting cough, I haven't really had a chance. I really enjoyed the videos I've already watched so hopefully you guys enjoy mine.

For me, I will tag: Jenny, Maxine, Angel, Jiezel and any other bloggers/followers out there that want to do it! (:

Black and Gold.

Repainted my nails again last night. I do try to change it up every week. Until the OPI & China Glaze Crackle's came out, I stuck to solid colors & sometimes add designs if I'm not lazy but the Crackle's allow me to be lazy but have my nails look pretty at the same time ha. I used China Glaze Golden Child and then topped it with the black China Glaze Crackle. I really like how it turned out (:
