Props to Marz was having another mix tape release party and we were asked to go, so we did! It was at White Rabbit Lounge in Fremont, my best friend picked Ish and I up and had a great time. Props always throws a good show so I'm really glad that we were able to come out and have a good time with friends. I was really tired though, so instead of dressing up I decided to just stay as comfortable as possible & I'm glad I did because I was able to enjoy the event a lot better.

I love his 2nd mix tape release, I've been listening & bumpin' to it in my car since then. lol

30 for 30 Remix Challenge

So, as I mentioned in my previous post I was going to give this 30 for 30 remix challenge a try. I spent a little time looking through my closet yesterday picking things out & it was hard (such an understatement) considering I had to really think about what items I would be able to interchange and work with for the next 30 days. I spent some more time today and finally picked my 30 items. I really tried to stay away from using too much black (I failed in the bottoms section, except for those pair of jeans, but at least I included a skirt right?) or neutral colors. We'll see how the next 30 days goes, when I mentioned the no shopping for the next 30 days, Ish knew it'd be an ever more of a challenge for me. I will post my first outfit later on in the evening.

Remix Challenge!

So, earlier this evening I was talking to my Sister-in-law (Jackie) about the previous video I did and how I was thinking about the challenge she just finished doing. Then she mentioned a challenge that she had seen someone do and she shared with me the link. So, I went to I Heart This's blog and found what Jackie was talking about and immediately thought it would be such a fun but difficult challenge. The most appealing part about it is, it will actually push me to use more effort and be more creative when getting dressed every day. I've never done a challenge like this before so I'm nervous but very excited. Anyone who has a fashion blog or anyone in general should give this challenge a try. We can all try this challenge together! I wish I had learned about this challenge prior to today so that I could have started today (being that it's April 1st), but it's okay. Tomorrow I plan to go through my closet and chose my items and perhaps start Day 1 as well.
