Yogurtland & Sushi

 

Despite the cloudy skies it was still fairly warm & slightly humid. Ish had a photo shoot on UW Campus today but afterward, after craving for Yogurtland we decided to just go prior to grabbing dinner. It's only my second time & it was better than the first. We were pretty stuffed already but still wanted sushi, so we walked down the street to eat at Genki Sushi. It was delicious & we definitely overestimated how hungry we were coz we ended up ordering way too much ha.

Overall, had a great Sunday spent with good company (:

Summer has arrived

My apologies for such a long hiatus. Life's chaos has once again taken up the majority of my time & I have had to put other priorities first. The last month & June including have been and are going to be one of my busiest months as I have to begin studying for my entrance exam for the Nursing Program I am hoping to get into this Fall as well as finally completely moving into the house. So, my blog may be lacking the next month or so. 

Today we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather mother nature graced us with. Finally, it seems that we actually might have a decent summer after what seemed like a never-ending cycle of rain. I am definitely going to keep my fingers crossed for more days like these.

I hope everyone has been well, despite my absence I noticed I gained 2 more followers which I'm grateful for. You guys truly are amazing & I appreciate you all <3

It's been awhile since I've really posted & I apologize. My days & weeks have been pretty long. Ever since Ish has been getting more into his photography & trying to build up his portfolio we've had something to do every weekend. Today we hung out and walked around a few of my friends in Capitol Hill in Seattle to do some street shooting. Thank goodness the weather was great & we were actually able to enjoy walking around. It would have been bad if we walked around in the pouring rain. 

This was also the first time I wore my Gold Dot wedges & they were surprisingly very comfortable! Even after walking for about 2 hours my feet were still not hurting. There's nothing better than knowing you put an investment in a good pair of comfortable shoes lol.

I love my co-workers

Work can become fairly overwhelming sometimes, especially when I'm running incredibly behind, however having the people I work with around makes it a little bit more comforting. They are one of the main reasons why I put up with the 45min sometimes an hour and a half commute to & from work. It's actually been pretty fun bringing in my camera to work. Ash & Mia went crazy paparazzi with it. Good times as always.

Mother's Day!

Happy belated Mother's Day to all the amazing mothers out there. Although we should be showing our appreciation for our mother's everyday I hope you all were treated extra special today.

This Mother's day has got to be one of the most memorable & exciting ones because this year Ish got me a 2008 Limited Rav4, provided it meant trading in my Corolla (which I'm slightly heartbroken about), having wanted a bigger car or SUV the past year, made this so exciting. We went to the dealership not expecting to leave with it, but it happened & I am eternally grateful for such an amazing gift.

That took a good few hours, but later on in the evening we had dinner with the entire family. It was delicious and great times with the family <3
