Originally, we had planned to go put put golfing with a few of my co-workers plus a bbq, however the weather failed on us today & decided to postpone for a different weekend when it's at least not raining. The family just spent the entire day at home until Ish finally decided he wanted to go to the mall to look for a dress shirt to wear for my upcoming birthday celebrations. 

I can't believe I'll be turning 25 already, I'm sure I'm not going to feel any different but just thinking about gets me sad at how fast time seems to be flying by.

Destination: Portland, OR

After nearly a month, I've finally posted some pictures from the trip we took to Portland, OR during memorial day weekend. It's amazing how different Oregon is from Washington, so much more peaceful & slow paced - definitely a nice change to be somewhere where life can slow down even a little bit. It's something we definitely needed as a family to just get away from the real world for a little bit.

We didn't do too many things, I thought I would shop more considering there's no tax there but surprisingly I didn't. Definitely spent more money on eating than anything else - which I definitely am not complaining about. Buffalo Wild Wings was delicious & right now I'm craving an Old Dirty Bastard doughnut from Voo Doo.

Hopefully we can return again next year. 

Yogurtland & Sushi

 

Despite the cloudy skies it was still fairly warm & slightly humid. Ish had a photo shoot on UW Campus today but afterward, after craving for Yogurtland we decided to just go prior to grabbing dinner. It's only my second time & it was better than the first. We were pretty stuffed already but still wanted sushi, so we walked down the street to eat at Genki Sushi. It was delicious & we definitely overestimated how hungry we were coz we ended up ordering way too much ha.

Overall, had a great Sunday spent with good company (:

Summer has arrived

My apologies for such a long hiatus. Life's chaos has once again taken up the majority of my time & I have had to put other priorities first. The last month & June including have been and are going to be one of my busiest months as I have to begin studying for my entrance exam for the Nursing Program I am hoping to get into this Fall as well as finally completely moving into the house. So, my blog may be lacking the next month or so. 

Today we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather mother nature graced us with. Finally, it seems that we actually might have a decent summer after what seemed like a never-ending cycle of rain. I am definitely going to keep my fingers crossed for more days like these.

I hope everyone has been well, despite my absence I noticed I gained 2 more followers which I'm grateful for. You guys truly are amazing & I appreciate you all <3

It's been awhile since I've really posted & I apologize. My days & weeks have been pretty long. Ever since Ish has been getting more into his photography & trying to build up his portfolio we've had something to do every weekend. Today we hung out and walked around a few of my friends in Capitol Hill in Seattle to do some street shooting. Thank goodness the weather was great & we were actually able to enjoy walking around. It would have been bad if we walked around in the pouring rain. 

This was also the first time I wore my Gold Dot wedges & they were surprisingly very comfortable! Even after walking for about 2 hours my feet were still not hurting. There's nothing better than knowing you put an investment in a good pair of comfortable shoes lol.
