Hiatus.

If you haven't already noticed, I've taken a slight hiatus from here. Life has caught up to me a little & I've had to put other things first than updating my fashion blog. To be honest, I'm not really sure if I'll be returning - so this might actually be my last post I wouldn't say forever but for a very long time. I'll more than likely still be posting looks on my lookbook so definitely continue checking that out otherwise I guess this is a farewell for now. Thank you all for your sweet comments, love & support - I have really appreciated it. Love you all. xoxo!

Can't Escape the Heat

Nasty Gal Leopard Print wedges, Forever 21 shorts, hat & sunglasses, Jujubes Top, L.A.M.B. purse

It was insanely hot this day, I didn't know if I was going to survive - nonetheless I prefer this weather over pouring rain any day <3

Magic Carpet Ride

Forever21 pants, H&M belt & shoulder bag, Dollhouse wedges, necklace from WalkingRecessionista, Thrifted crocheted vest.

The Aladdin Musical has finally arrived to the 5th Ave Theater in Seattle, and being that it's practically been nearly 4 years since the last time Ish and I watched a musical it was just about right that we go. Besides Aladdin has to be one of my favorite Disney classics so I had to. I hope they come out with the Beauty & the Beast musical because that is my ultimate favorite Disney classic & will definitely have to go. The theater was packed & it was definitely a show worth watching. If it's showing at a theater near you, definitely check it out.

It was a great day to actually walk around Seattle as well, which Ish and I was actually able to do since we were pretty early. I just love gorgeous summer days in Seattle. I sure do hope we have more days like these (:

Summer Euphoria

Jeffrey Campbell wedges, Levi's  cut off high-waisted shorts, Jujubes tank top, Forever21 hat, jacket, necklace, H&M shoulder bag & bracelet

This outfit was the one I decided to wear when I entered It's Judy Time's contest that she's currently still doing in combination with Luuux. Trying to decide what my favorite or best summer look for ItsJudyTime contest was harder than I thought. Though I am drawn to many different styles when it comes to fashion I would have to say my "go to" choices when picking up what I'm going to wear on a nice summer day would have to be a pair of shorts (jean or not) & a nice tank top. Depending on my mood and what I'm doing I'd pair it up with some wedges, platforms or sandals, and then add some accessories here and there to just add a little umph to the look. I chose this as my "go to" only because I feel it is the most versatile as far as what one can do in playing around with styling it. When I'm jut walking around I'm fine with just wearing the wedges but being a mom, there are times where I'm running around and playing with my son, so being able to change quickly into a cute pair of sandals and not completely ruining the outfit is a plus. And curling my hair enough so that it's wavy, I feel gives it an even more relaxed feel overall.

Another July baby!

Jujubes sheer polka dot tank, Jeffrey Campbell Foxy Platform Heels, Forever21 studded jacket, necklace & ring, H&M bracelet.

Went and celebrated my friend Pauline's 24th birthday at a Rock Box in Broadway. After my birthday celebration, I wasn't super into drinking too much so I just had one at Rock Box and another at La Isla after the celebration. It was a pretty intense night considering it was my first time really taking care of a very intoxicated girlfriend, probably because I'm usually pretty drunk with them. It was a good experience though I think, weird I know but I'm just glad Paulie had a good time & that she got home safely!

Quarter Century Club!

This year, I finally turned 25! I know it's probably not that great big deal to some or maybe even most people but for me it somewhat was. My cousin Jes & I have actually been planning where I wanted to have dinner & the main event for about 2 months now -- the theme didn't pop into my head though till probably a month and a half before the party. The Midnight Masquerade was such a success! I didn't think a lot of people would come wearing masks and most of my girls did, which I really loved!

My booth at PNK Ultra Lounge was cute & just perfect for my party! The thought of turning 25 seems a little sad to me, & it's the first time I think I actually started to feel "old". Many more years & celebrations to come that's for sure. I am truly blessed to have such an amazing group of friends and family by my side, regardless of where my friendships with some of them may be years from now, I will always remember this night! Thank you Lord!

Reunited

Nasty Gal Cheetah Print Top, Pac Sun Jeans, Jeffrey Campbell Lita Platforms

It was a fun & eventful weekend. Saturday, the family took the kids to Wild Waves Park (which I will have to post pictures later as I haven't gotten the copies from my brother's camera). They all really enjoyed it even my parents.

On the earlier part of Sunday, Ish, Rylan & I hung out at Madison Park in Seattle with our friend Pauline so that they could take some pictures, hang out & enjoy the sun that we first thought wasn't going to come out. That was a lot of fun, although I later regretted wearing jeans coz I was burning - hence why I later changed into shorts & sandals. Later that evening we met up with an old friend of mine that I haven't hung out in almost 2 years. We walked around the mall for a little than grabbed an early dinner at Joey's than decided to take a trip over to Redondo Beach Boardwalk to take advantage of the nice weather. It was a blast hanging out & Rylan and Keig got along very well. Ish captured great pictures from such a great weekend.

Summer Wedding

We attended Adam & Emma's outdoor summer wedding today, which was probably the perfect day to have had a summer wedding considering how beautiful it was. Unfortunately, due to the ridiculous amount of traffic there was heading to the venue we missed the entire ceremony. We got there when pictures were being taken and dinner was being served. It was a cute & intimate wedding. Rylan definitely had fun running around all over the place, & his favorite part would have to be playing with the souvenir bubbles they had.
